Every year or two, you’re faced with a period of transition whether it’s your career, life in general, transferring all your files from old laptop to new, or the time consuming task of culling some sort of social metric. It seems I’m currently caught up in this transition and so haven’t been able to post recently, but here’s to letting you know whats coming up.

I’m currently in a temporary post for 3 months developing strategies around social media and harnessing it’s capabilities to bring alumni closer to their alma mater. I’ll be posting a series of blog posts to talk about some of the challenges I’ve come across putting these strategies together as well as the broader topic of communication in higher education.

At the same time, I’ve decided to do a triathlon every year leading up to 2015 when I’ll attempt to do the full IronMan UK and so inspired by this, I’ve been browsing through Vimeo looking at extreme sports videos and documentaries. I have around 7 I really like but I’m going to cut the list down to 5…
